Glimmer in your eyes
I still think about you,
I wonder if you think about me.
I think about the perfect moments we shared.
I think about the times we laughed.
I know it's just a memory,
But they were good times we had.
I remembered how I made you smile,
I remember the sound of your laugh.
But it is all gone now,
The memories aren't as strong.
Those are the days I miss,
You had such a beautiful smile.
When I looked into your eyes,
They were filled with stars.
I could have visions of you,
A bright future for us.
Some how things had changed,
Feelings had faded away.
When I looked into your eyes,
They were just dark and gray.
The sparkle had faded,
The glimmer is gone.
You no longer said sweet nothings,
You've turned really cold.
You talk to me as I'm nothing,
Just like a regular friend.
We used to share so much together,
I guess this is the end.
